American Romanticism part 1

example 1:When Rip Van Winkle is walking up in the the mountains with his dog he hears his name being called and doesn't know who it is because he couldn't think of what kind of person will be walking their when the sun is about to go down. When he sees these weird looking fellows that I assume their elf's, where drinking some kind of liquor that Van Winkle wanted to try. When the elf's gave him some to try Van Winkle slowly lay in the ground and fell in to a deep sleep.This is an example of Romanticism because their is no thing like magic potions or liquor, for then I have to open my imagination to be able to understand what is going on in the story.

example 2: Another example is when Rip Van Winkle is describing the Kaatskill mountains;Every change of season, every change of weather, indeed every hour of the day, produces some change in the magical hues and shapes of these mountains, and they are regarded by all the good wives, far and near, as perfect
barometers. When the weather is fair and settled, they are clothed in blue
and purple, and print their bold outlines on the clear evening sky; but
sometimes, when the rest of the landscape is cloudless, they will gather a
hood of gray vapors about their summits, which, in the last rays of the
setting sun, will glow and light up like a crown of glory. this is an example of romanticism because he is describing nature. For many people had never seen places like the ones they describe. because their nature was durty and nothing compare to what Rip Van Winkle is describing.

SMACK (26-45)

Now It's time for Tar to tell his part of the story. He describes what happen the day he met Gemma how he felt and he toughs. Tar is very confused on what he wants to do with his life. He's unsure of running away from home because he doesn't know if he's going to survive all on his own. Tar has made new friends and is now trying to find food so he wont go hungry. Skolly is a friend of Tar and his trying to help him survive on his own. Skolly has been living own his on a=for a pretty long time and knows who he could and can't trust. Meanwhile Tar is finding a place to stay he had found an abounded house and had called it his property for other people to not come, and be able to rest at least half the night.Now Tars good living all depends in Skolly, and on what Gemma is going to say about what he is doing with his life.

My thirteen virtues

1. patience I must not get mad so easily need to think before acting
2. sincerity I have to make sure I say all the truth when i get in trouble
3. cleanliness need to clean more often the baby's toys and his room and mine
4. industry have to make time to finish all chores in time, make more effort to not lose time
5. not interrupt stop interrupting conversations that are not to my importance.
6. cooking learn more style of foods to cook
7. frugality stop buying thinks that aren't needed
8. punctuality be on time
9. efficiency finish school faster
10. rest go to sleep earlier
11. teach obedience
12. tolerate my sons crying and screaming
13. encourage my baby's dad to have more patience with him

Autobiography

Benjamin Franklin is a good example of rationalist for several reasons. Franklin says that he is in control of what he is or does. For example he made a list of all thinks he didn't like about himself so little by little he will change and that will make him a better person. Just like the rationalist they say that God made earth for them to live and so they will make the laws of the world because God wasn't able to speak to people nor change them.

Differences between Puritans and Rationalist

The difference between the Puritans and the Rationalists is very easy to explain they're believes are truly the opposites. Puritans believes are very understanable because they don't mix their religion with science. Rationalist does not believe that God has power nor they believe that he gave the world rules that they need to acomplish for them to be abale to go to heaven.Now in day the Puritans remember me of the religion christian because they believe that God tranfer his power in his son's so their able to do his will here in earth. Rationalist could be more compare to scientist in this world that say that God did not created the human , that we come from ancestors of the monkey.

The difficulty of being a teen mom

Becoming a mom could be every woman’s dream, but life as a teen could be the start of an unexpected lifestyle. Having your body change in so many different ways, knowing what to do once your baby has arrived and making sure that you learn how to care for them is very complicated. Having to learn how to be independent and letting your parents go and making time to be a mom, student and employee is the hardest thing to do.

Having your body changing can be very difficult. The weight could be one of the major things that happen. The belly you have when you’re ready to give labor is just so big that then you have to depend on someone’s help to stand or sit. The pain you go through when it’s happening because your body wasn’t ready to make the big change is a frustrating semester. Getting prepared for labor so you know what to expect and not freak out was more complicated than what I thought. Also after labor mothers must wait for their bones to get back the way they were to keep on with life.

It’s most likely that any teen mom has no idea what to do once baby has arrived. The diaper changing, burping, and especially when they get sick is exasperating. Thinking that the hard part has ended, I realize it just started. Having to be your own trainer to learn step by step what to expect with your baby. Babies come with so many surprises that it’s stressful when you can’t get the hang of it. We moms just have to get our own experiences to learn and when next time comes we will mostly know how to get the hang of it.

Becoming independent is painful. When mom and dad tell you that you’re a parent and you have to solve your problems on your own, is hard because it’s probably the time when you expect them to be there at all times. But I guess that’s just the path that we’ve chosen and we need to get the points that now we are parents. Having to make medical appointments, making sure that you’re paying all your debts, and having to figure out what to do so you can give your baby everything he needs is stressful. It’s a period of time when you understand how hard life is. Eventually getting mom and dad out of the picture and knowing they can’t do anything for you anymore is a dreadful time you need to confront.

Being a mom, student and employee is the hardest thing I ever heard of. It’s one person doing three jobs at a time. As a mom you need to clean, cook, wash, and keeping up with your child’s timing of eating especially if they’re still infants. Having to change from mom to student is stressful because I have to make sure you’ve left your child with someone you are able to trust, and knowing that when you’re in class you need to work your hardest to graduate and let everyone who criticized you know that you’re able to make it even though you’re a mom. Moving from student to employee is also difficult because now you know that all that time you’re there is to gain money to be able to buy clothes and toys for your little one because focusing on giving your child a better life gives you the strength to continue and never stop.

Being a teen mom is difficult and I’ve giving you some examples so you analyze and know that there is many girls out there that are experiences the same thing I am. But knowing that you have someone at home waiting for you and depending that you’re coming home with many little gifts is the major thing that gives you all the strength you need in this life to go on.
