wirting 2

Hawthorne High School is public school located in Hawthorne California. It was established in the mid 1950s. I think highly of this school because it’s known for the famous people who attend there. It may seem to you like any other school but knowing that many famous people went to this school may change your mind once you know who attended to Hawthorne High.
In 1961, the Beach Boys graduated from Hawthorne High, and that’s when they gathered all together to sing harmony songs. As soon as they heard their songs where being played in the radio, that’s when they named themselves the Beach Boys because before that; they were called the Pendletons. In 1962 Al Jardine left the group because he preferred continuing his studies in El Camino College. Therefore he was replaced by David Marks, but only for two years because in July 1963 Al came back. Since 1963- 2006 The Beach Boy’s had great success in their group and they will always be remembered by all their fans and Hawthorne California.
Chris Montez was another famous singer who attended Hawthorne High. He graduated in 1961 with the Beach Boys. He made his first single when he was seventeen which was “She’s my Rockin’ Baby”. After the death of Ritchie Valens, Chris Montez was the leading rocker to the Hispanic society. His top song was “Lets Dance” and from there on Montez started his famous career. Even though he had difficulty with the racism because back then there where many problems in Hawthorne California. They where trying to make segregation in the school wanting all Hispanics and African- Americans out.
Greg Hetson of Bad Religion is included in this list. He’s an American Guitarist who started in 1979. And is best known for the influential of hardcore punk bands like Redd Kross, Circle Jerks, and Bad Religion. In 1980 Greg Hetson left his position as a guitarist in the band the Redd Kross to form The Circle Jerks. They toured all around the U.S making fans and selling their albums. Bad Religion had pause their career for then Hetson was not spending much time with them, but as soon as they began singing their best song Hetson had return to play with them.
Ted Coombs another famous person who attended Hawthorne High. Coombs graduated in 1972. In late 1972, Ted inlisted in the US Navy, and he was there several years. After he was released from the Navy Ted went back to California. In February 1975 he began studying music in El Camino College in Torrance California he was known as one of the gifted vocalist and being able to play the piano. In early 1979 Ted lived in Hermosa Beach and one day when he was practicing roller-skating he though that he would like to skate across the USA to protest the 1979 energy crisis. He remembered that Clinton Shaw has done that already so he wants to beat him by doing more than what he had done. Ted Coombs did a lot in his life, and for doing all this he is remembered in Hawthorne High.
There for many famous people that when to Hawthorne high and even tough when you see pictures of the school you see that is not fancy at all. But you need to make the research because you never know what you could find if you don’t research it. There where more famous people for example the band “Dios Malos, Wasted youth, Silent range but I wasn’t able to find enough information on them for me to be able to tell you a little more about their lives. For then I’ve based my research on the people above.

romanticism part 3

The point of this poem is how the man is imagining all different types of ways a rope could be used to distract him self from work. The images that stand out to me is when he is comparing people to spiders, squares of sunshine on the floor, and like white doves upon the wing.Rope walk is a good example of Romanticism because you have to use your imagination to go along with him and visualize what he is imagining. Also how this person is using his imagination to distract himself and not get bored.

Romanticism part 4

This picture is an example of Romanticism beacuse it makes you want to use your imagination to imagine yourself in one of those boats relaxing watching the sunset go down, noticing that the waves of the sea are really calmed and everything in here is just perfect. It's very easy to see why this picture is known as romanticism, just think it this way, it's not every day you see something like this.

American Romanticism part 2

I think that the poem Thanatopsis is focusing in making death not sound as bad as people think. Thanatopsis is saying that if you shouldn't be scared of death, you need to open your imagination so you can be able to talk and enjoy mother nature. Indeed when your in a park and feel lonely think in the people that have been buried there, their making you company so after all your not alone. And once your dead don't think that your not going to see anyone anymore because we all have to die some day and when we do were all are going to the same place. so soon where going to be together. For then Thanatopsis is focusing in making death sound good.
